Introduction to The Snider Files

The Snider Files is a subscription-based digital periodical dedicated to the career of songwriter and recording artist Todd Snider. The Snider Files, which will publish from December 2023 through December 2024, are written and edited by best-selling author and rock music journalist Daryl Sanders, a longtime Snider insider who has written extensively about Snider. Sanders has not only chronicled Snider’s career for newspapers and magazines, he has written bios and liner notes for a number of Snider’s record releases. Sanders has conducted hundreds of hours of unpublished interviews with Snider since they first met in the summer of 2006 just before the release of The Devil You Know. The Snider Files will draw heavily on those interviews, as well as a variety of other sources including first-person interviews with Snider’s musical and business colleagues over the years.
