Vivid Recollections of Specific Notions

as we came over the ridge,
i could see the entire town,
and i could tell
just gazing upon its skyline
that it was one of those towns
with so many unique shapes, sizes, distances
and distinct combinations of colors
that if i used adjectives to describe them,
you would be able to see the town in your mind
as clear as i am looking at it now.
