Todd Snider’s recent recollection of the first time he performed “Beer Run” — “My Finest Hour” — reminded me I had done two interviews with him about the genesis of the song —  in December 2018 and then again in November 2020. While Snider tells some of the story behind the song on Aimless Records Presents: New Connection (Purple Version), his latest release in the “All My Songs” series of live, solo acoustic recreations of his studio albums, he went into much greater detail in our interviews.
