On Wednesday, July 19, 1989, Todd Snider gave one of the most important performances of his career when he played the open mike night at The Daily Planet in Memphis, Tennessee. Anyone familiar with Snider’s story knows that was the beginning of a long and successful relationship with the bar located at 3439 Park Avenue not far from the University of Memphis.
