On April 19, 2014, indie label Turbo Time Records released a cover of War’s “Why Can’t We Be Friends” by Todd Snider and the band Turbo Fruits as a limited-edition vinyl picture disc for Record Store Day. The song had been a Top 10 hit in the U.S. for the band War in 1975.
